Personal Information the App Collects
When a merchant installs the App, the App is automatically able to access certain types of information from the merchant's Shopify account: View Shopify account data, edit products, view orders, edit the merchant's online store, view other data.
Additionally, the App collects the following types of personal information from the store and/or the customers once the merchant has installed the App: Information about the merchant and others who may access the App on behalf of the merchant’s store, such as the merchant’s name and email address; Information about individuals who visit the merchant’s store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, country, state, zip code, device, and operation system.
Personal information is collected directly from the relevant individual and stored in the user’s browser and the App's database.
How Does the App Use the Merchant’s Personal Information?
The personal information that is collected from the merchant and the merchant’s customers in order to provide the Service is used to: operate the App, optimize or improve the store performance, and communicate with the merchant.
Sharing Your Personal Information
Finally, we may also share the merchant’s personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
The Merchant’s Rights
If the merchant is a European resident, the merchant has the right to access personal information the App holds about the merchant and to ask that the merchant’s personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If the merchant would like to exercise this right, please contact the App’s customer service team through the contact information below.
Additionally, please note that the merchant’s information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
